My first contact with power kites was actually as far back as in 1990,when two of my friends were keen Kiters. They had a number of Flexifoil power kites which they stacked regularly. One moment which stuck in my mind from those days was when one of my friends had a nice stack of power kites and a breeze picked him up. He went about 3 metres high and 10 metres forward before landing very hard. He managed to tear all his ligaments in one foot. I have had great respect for power kites ever since!

I didn't really do any kiting until about two years ago when I got my first Stacker 6 for my birthday and I only flew this very irregularly.

In April 2004 rich_b then bought us a Proteam 8. After having flown this only a couple of times, StueyBoy dragged rich_b and myself to the Royston Heath for the first time in May 2004. How this would change our lives! We had a go on a 2.5m Bullet , a 4.9m Blade III  as well as on a 2.0 Firebee  that day.

We were hooked straight away!

No surprise really that rich_b went out to buy us an Ozone Samurai 3.0m and a 4.9m Blade III shortly
afterwards.

Now we are wondering what we should buy next??
