The Dunstable
Kite Festival was extremely windy and everyone had to dodge the
showers.
Team Adrenalize managed to do all of their display as they had the
wind for a change. Joe Brown from Dunstable Kites did a good display
with his Airbow and the Revolution Display Team put on an excellent
display.
As for general kite flying, conditions were very difficult and I did
feel that there were a few irresponsible flyers, flying too big a kite
for the conditions. I was getting dragged all over the place with a 2m
Firebee and somebody else put a 3m Firebee up, got dragged and put
their kite straight into the road. Another "Kiter" also put a 3m
Firebee up and got dragged, lost control and the net result is a scar
on my face...
