The Middle Wallop
Event took on a new name this year, Flexi Wallop 1 or FW1 due to it's
new sponsor
Flexifoil.
The event itself
remained largely unchanged though with the exception of dedicated
Camping and Parking areas, more porta-loos and water bowsers and a far
larger Beer tent to accommodate the growing numbers of visitors each
year.
Once again the
number of Kiters was around the 900 mark and with only a very few
relatively minor accidents the event can easily be heralded as another
great success bought to us by the British Buggy Club and Flexifoil.
Many of the RPK
stayed for the whole weekend and for some this was their first time
actually sleeping in a tent. We had a small village grow up around our 6
tents when our friends from the Milton Keynes Kiters joined us followed
by Diggy and Morbius from Norfolk, with the
HHF guys deciding to stay out of
earshot of the loud music and snoring.
In all 16 of the
RPK visited or stayed during the weekend with Jezz and TimA being the
main exceptions due to prior holiday commitments, next year guys get
your hols' booked after Wallop dates are announced ..lol
